Tristan was SFAS' first athlete and raised 2.5k dollars for the Non-Profit MMIA in 2014 by reaching the summit of the tallest mountain in the contiguous 48 states, Mt. Whitney.
He is a North Carolina Motorsports Foundation scholar, and is currently a first-year engineering student in the honors program at NC State University. He is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering and hopes to open his own business in vehicle dynamics. He loves backpacking and climbing, and has a background in 11 years of competitive swimming. As an Eagle Scout, he has worked in close conjunction with the NC Forest Service and the Bay Leaf Fire Dept. He now works with the Shelton Leadership Center at NC State and assists in running a Nature Club at a local Boys and Girls Club. He also takes part in multiple other sport and scholarly related activities at NCSU.
Tristan serves SFAS as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, but also pursues sponsorships and donations for awareness climbs.
